Abstract

The thesis aims to investigate the perceptions of Indian investors towards sustainability and sustainability information, in the context of the mandatory sustainability reporting introduced in India from the financial year 2022/23. Through the lens of knowledgeable investment decision-makers (hereafter referred to as Professional Investors or PI), the study aims to understand their current practice of incorporating sustainability aspects in investment decisions.
