Abstract

This paper presents a novel solution to a component adaptation problem suggested by an international investment bank. We utilized Microsoft's advanced compiler toolset to develop both client-side and server-side tools to facilitate component migration within a .NET framework. We were invited to present an account of this development at the 2006 Lang.NET Symposium hosted by Microsoft Research in Redmond, and the subsequently published paper was well received at the IFIP conference. The bank has subsequently appointed one of the co-authors to their staff.
