Abstract

This work initiated in response to Nomura (2003) who showed that pre-conception paternal irradiation may be linked to cancer, and to nuclear industry concerns that testicular irradiation by plutonium may increase the risk of leukaemia within the children of nuclear workers. This large study failed to demonstrate a direct link.
