Description | The Table is a 5 minute work for video that formed a central reference and projection witihin the exhibition The Manifestation at Cafe Gallery Projects London. The material contained was originally filmed during the site specific performance/installation Art Work/Work Art commissioned for the international project STEDER/PLACES Lillehammer in 2003. The re-editing of the video documentation of this work was led by RL's fictitious collaborator Tania Koswycz who, by 2008, was a central collaborator in the development of The Manifestation. The Table Project as a central theme and concept of The Manifestation developed out of the dialogues with Tania Koswycz which were subsequently published in Cream Pages. At Cafe Gallery Projects the Table Project was made manifest for the first time through the realisation of this video. It was projected in the Salter Space of Cafe Gallery Projects. The Manifestation was funded by Arts Council England, London, Steder/Places was funded by Oppland Arts Centre Norway. |
