Description | Bassline is a ‘city-specific’ large-scale sound and video installation that is recreated for specific spaces, in which a series of projections reveal the surrounding urban landscape as seen by a chain of 10-15 walkers and a bass player. Bassline London is the second version (after Bassline Vienna) of the installation, documenting a single 40 minutes of city life intersected and memorised by 14 people. An audio-video work occupying the whole space of an underground car park of the Barbican Centre. |
