Description

Ludus is a site-specific musical composition commissioned by the 2009 Colourscape Festival (Rawsthorn commission) for two Saxophone Quartets and live electronics. The Colourscape structure was treated as a giant board game in which the two teams (quartets) played and moved according to devised rules. Wireless coloursensors carried by the team leaders determined treatments and mixes of the electronic component.
