Abstract | This workshop is intended for colleagues who use, or are thinking of using Web 2.0 technologies in their learning and teaching. The session will briefly introduce how web 2.0 technologies, including digital videos, facebook and blogs may be utilised to facilitate communication and collaboration in learning and teaching. Consideration will be given to how learning theories such as connectivism underpin the use web 2.0 technologies and influence approaches to learning and teaching. The workshop will provide the opportunity to share experiences, concerns and opportunities for the use of Web 2.0, with a particular focus on the teacher's perspective. |
