Abstract

In today’s high-risk and hugely complex construction environment, Collaborative Planning is a straightforward team-based technique that ensures total project integration (BIM culture).
Collaborative Planning involves and engages those actually doing the job, tapping into everyone’s views on obstacles and possible problems likely to become apparent over the foreseeable future. It focuses the team on achieving Key Milestones; helps them precisely map interface tasks as a Critical Path; enables a smooth interface work-flow, and commits the team to promised outputs and results.
Success is measured in terms of not just what we achieve as individuals but what we do to ensure the success of others..
