Abstract | The patient has been suffering from chronic cough with phlegm for nearly 30 years. He started to receive acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine treatment since September 2012. Modified Qing Qi Hua Tan Wan and Shen Ling Bai Zhu San have been used at acute and chronic stages respectively. Significant improvement has been observed. A summary of the treatment and the usage of above modified formulae during the treatment are discussed below. |
