A one minute animated ‘documentary’ about a Persian Rug. This energetic and playful stop motion animation was made by taking close-up photographs of repeating patterns in a traditionally woven rug from Iran, registering them and editing the image sequences to synch with a traditional drumming composition composed by two young percussionists from Jordan.
This short animation was made especially for One Minute Hull Artists Moving Image Festival. Festival curated by Kerry Baldry
