Description | Contagion is a site generic multi media dance installation for public spaces. It is inspired by the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918 which killed between 50 and 100 million people world wide. It featured 8 female dancers. Contagion features spoken extracts from the Imperial war museum archive and refers to the nature of the flu virus and as well as the role of the female in this largely forgotten episode of human history |
