Biography
Biography Waseemah Moedeen completed her BSc and MSc in IT and Business Information Systems at Middlesex University. She is currently a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the same institution. Her research interests include generative artificial intelligence, machine learning, data fusion and data science. Waseemah joined Middlesex University Mauritius in 2014 as a Teaching/Research Assistant. She currently serves as Lecturer in Computing with the Science and Technology department and is also Programme Coordinator for BSc Computer Science (Systems Engineering). She previously coordinated BSc IT and BIS (Top-up). Waseemah is involved in several university sub-committees, including Ethics Sub-Committee - S&T(former Chair) and Teaching and Learning Sub-Committee. Waseemah also leads the AWS Academy at the Mauritius Campus and has successfully delivered various online short courses such as Foundation of Cloud Computing, Foundation of Machine Learning, Generative AI and Data Engineering.
