MSW, Dip SW, PG Certificate in Higher Education. Edd’s practice background is with self-advocacy, social work with people with learning disabilities and with mental health. His teaching interests include adult social care; safeguarding, professional law; mental health and mental capacity; disability issues. Edd’s research interests include social work with people with learning disabilities and people with dual diagnosis of learning disabilities and mental illness; in particular with a focus on service user involvement and self-advocacy issues.

Teaching

I teach across a range of social work and mental health subjects including the law for practice and working with adult social care and people who have learning disabilities.
