Biography
Biography Aphrodite Yiasemi is a lecturer in law at the Middlesex University
School of Law, having joined in 2020. She was previously an LLM and LLB tutor
at Queen Mary University of London, where she taught Law of Contract, Contract
law for Business and the English Legal System amongst other topics. Since
joining the Middlesex University School of Law Aphrodite has led the modules of
Advanced Issues in EU law and Politics and English Legal System and
International Human Rights LLM. Aphrodite obtained her LL.B from Exeter University and her LL.M in
European and International Law from the University of Ghent, Belgium and is
completing her PhD at Queen Mary University of London. Aphrodite is a qualified Advocate at Law at the Cyprus Bar, having
practiced in banking law and having worked on cases with particular focus on EU
law and the European Central Bank.
Aphrodite is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (2024).
