Biography
Biography Before becoming an Associate lecturer in Policing, I completed 4 years study at Middlesex University and worked within the banking industry. I have a BSc in Psychology with Criminology, MSc in Criminology with Forensic Psychology and PgCert in Higher Education. I also was involved in the ‘Learning together’ project in 2019, which involved students and residents within HMP Wandsworth learning together at university level standard. My latest research in my studies investigated “A thematic analysis into how black males are admired for their talents in football, but still systematically oppressed by society”. I’m a strong advocate for change in equality at all levels and believe this is very much possible with consistency in research and fresh ideas/perspectives. Over the last 2 years, I have refined and developed my policing understanding and knowledge which has enabled me to be a trusted guide in police practice. I'm hopeful to continue to develop and learn more about a sector of society that is implements protection and safety at the highest level.
Teaching I currently teach on the PEQF, formally known as the Policing Education Qualification Framework, on both the DHEP and PCDA programme.
