Biography
Biography I am a Senior Lecturer (Practice) in Social
Work and the Programme Lead for the Step Up to Social Work program at Middlesex
University. I am currently in the analysis and writing stage of my PhD research which focuses on Social Work Education transforming students into professional
graduates prepared for practice and employment . Professionally, I am a dual
qualified Health and Social Care professional as a qualified mental nurse and a
Registered Social Worker. I currently hold a PG Cert HE (FHEA), an MSc (Mental
Health Studies), and a BA (Hons) in Social Work. In addition, I am a Practice
Educator (Stage 1 & 2); an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP), and a
Best Interest Assessor (BIA). I teach across our undergraduate and postgraduate Social Work Programmes including CPD courses.
