Dr Lee Pheiffer

Biography

I have a long-standing track record of working in Education and Training and more particularly in Higher Education. I have worked in several institutions in South Africa, Oman and Mauritius, and I have been a consultant to educational institutions and agencies in several countries including Bahrain, UAE, Mozambique, Namibia, Botswana and South Africa.  My expertise lies in the development and implementation of National Qualifications Frameworks,  quality assurance and enhancement, teaching, learning and assessment, policy development and implementation and the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). These also reflect my research interests.

Teaching

As the Deputy Director Academic at Mauritius campus, I do not current have teaching responsibilities although I have taught on the Post Graduate Certificate HE module on Philosophy and Policy in Higher Education.  I conduct regular staff development sessions for academic staff on issues pertinent to teaching and learning.
