Biography
Biography
My primary research interests lie in the mechanisms underlying visual spatial attention and working memory, using a combination of behavioral and non-invasive imaging techniques such as EEG. My recent work has focused on attentional biases to COVID-related stimui and working memory. With the innovative use of
technology, I have also been the only academic on the Middlesex University
Mauritius campus to have my supervisees use programming software to design
psychological experiments. One of the greatest satisfactions that I have is
when learners, who shy away from classes like research methods, actually perform
exceptionally well in those same demanding classes.
