Adapted from my master’s thesis in Health Research Methods, “Effectiveness of Hypnotherapy in Anxiety Disorders: a Systematic Review”

There is growing interest in providing hypnotherapy in healthcare settings, including the provision of hypnotherapy training to healthcare workers in the UK as hypnotherapy may also be relatively quick and inexpensive, compared to more expensive and time consuming Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
