| Abstract | Bank treasurers can improve their asset and liability management (ALM) using sustainable or green bonds in several ways. Sustainable bonds are fixed-income securities issued specifically to finance environmentally friendly or socially responsible projects. They are an increasingly popular investment option for investors looking to support sustainable development. A number of sovereign entities have issued green and sustainable bonds, followed by financial institutions and other corporates, for several good reasons. |
