Abstract

This context statement is a critical reflection on several of my public works and books from my 30+ years career in the global energy and commodity industry. I summarize my achievements in the professional research and development of best practices in the functional disciplines of trading and risk management, my contributions to written knowledge and academic writing, and the enhancement of university education around the world. I also review and reflect upon my innovations in practical solutions, approaches, and methodologies to real-world issues for the commodity industry.
