Lifes, The Hammer Museum

This group exhibition is interdisciplinary, perhaps to a fault, featuring contributions from visual artists, musicians, choreographers, composers, vocalists, and writers. Contrary to the usual white cube experience, there is an attempt to address all the senses, with a carpeted floor, a
rotating hourly programme of performance and recorded music, along with which the lighting changes, and even a fragrance by Dora Budor synthesizing the smell of cigarette smoke intermittently pumped into the gallery.
