Developing a translational discourse to communicate uncertainty in flood risk between science and the practitioner

Analyses the problems of communicating flood risk uncertainty and proposes a new code of practice for such communications. Contribution to the international debate about how to communicate hazard uncertainty, to flood risk management policy in the UK, and to risk communication in general.
