Abstract

Feral Gissando: a sound performance at Experimenting with Geography:
See-Hear-Make-Do, a week long HEFCE funded international conference at Edinburgh University¹s department of Geography (attendance by invitation), organized by Dr Michael Gallagher in May 2010. (Site-specific performances form part of Tansy's PhD practice based research). Speakers included artist Louise K Wilson, sound artists Matt Rogalsky and Joseph Kierkegaard, geographer Nigel Thrift and public artists Sans Facon. The Sound piece, Feral Glissando involved the participation of most of the delegates.
