Abstract

The consultant undertook a two-week consultancy to the ESCAP/FAO/UNIDO Fertilizer Advisory, Development and Information Network for Asia and the Pacific (FADINAP)/Network of Fertilizer Information Systems (NFIS) participating centre in Pakistan. There he organized training on use of CDS/ISIS software (supplied by UNESCO) for bibliographic databases, and advised on ways to obtain and use bibliographic records from appropriate sources. He also designed various types of output, and left instructions for their production.
