| Abstract | A one week visit was undertaken to the Fertilizer Advisory, Development and Information Network (FADINAP)/ Network of Fertilizer Information Systems (NFIS) National Cooperating Centre (NCC) for Viet Nam, the Information Centre for Food and Agriculture Industry (ICAFI), under the Ministry of Agriculture. The present situation concerning computer resources in Viet Nam was studied together with the state of fertilizer information dissemination services. Training was given in the use of the FADINAP/NFIS database, FADI, running on micro CDS/ISIS (Computerized Documentation Service/Integrated Set of Information Systems) and recommendations were made relating to the exploitation of the FADINAP/NFIS data, including the holding of workshops to promote the use of the FADINAP/NFIS information.
