Abstract

This paper explores flexible learning students' attitudes in Cairo and Hong Kong. The UK postgraduate Computing Science programme studied provides a blended mode of delivery encompassing an electronic platform, distance learning materials and face to face support. Qualitative data was obtained by conducting face to face interviews. Content analysis highlights the importance of motivation and communication issues in the learning process and clarifies the impact of e-learning from the users' perspective. Conclusions illustrate differences between blended and e-learning student attitudes.
