Abstract | The global nature of education is certainly being commercialised both in its provision and in its curriculum content. This is unsurprising given that the benefits of education are also almost exclusively positioned in terms of their effect on income. However, the loss to civic society from such a drift is hardly discussed in terms other than the economic void between those who attend university and those who don’t. Universities in the Flux of Time intends to lift the debate through the influence and use of time to explore how we perceive the changes in higher education and how these affect the temporality of higher education from local, national and global perspectives. |
