Description

The exhibition aimed to provide a platform to share knowledge and generate conversations on participatory design, co-production and design for development. The project used a case study approach to initiate discussion in order to address the larger questions around the role and value of material culture and crafts within developing economies. Thus the concept and practice of handcrafting, and its role in generating sustainable livelihoods was explored. The exhibition will also produced a publication, which includes these debates and images curated in the form of exhibition catalog.
