Abstract

The Conservatives (Tories) managed a landslide in the UK general election on 12th December 2019 by obtaining 365 seats and inflicted a crushing defeat on the Labour Party that got only 203 seats. The Tories' parliamentary majority would be 80 against all the other parties combined.
