Abstract

On 2 April 2023, Bulgaria will face its fifth parliamentary election in the span of two years. To restore democracy and the rule of law, one must sideline all toxic actors – from those who inflicted damage on the country’s rule of law to the poisonous lookalikes flooding the political stage.
