I am a Senior Lecturer in the Strategy, Leadership and Operations (SLO) Department and Programme Leader for the BA International Business.

I am also the Principal Investigator on a HEIF-funded project entitled "A Training Framework for Local Authorities in the Identification and Prevention of Modern Slavery".

Currently Module Leader of HRM2118, 'HRM in Practice,' HRM4415 Applied Dissertation, MGT4900/4920 and 4950 Business Project, I also teach MGT3191 Cross-Cultural Management and Business Ethics.

I have previously been Co-Leader of the Alternative Organisations and Transformative Practices research cluster and was involved in a research team with UNITE the Union in the design of their "Crisis Leverage Campaign, BA Betrayal".

I received my PhD from Middlesex University, which focused on how professionals and middle-class people responded to unemployment and impoverishment during economic crises (protest, coping strategies, entrepreneurial, consumer, labour and psychological responses), using Argentina post-2001 as a case study.

I research on comparative citizen responses to financial crises in Europe and Latin America, workers' self-management, cooperatives, alternative post-crisis production models, transnational labour movements, modern slavery and how both personal and national debt is resisted.

You can see this 1 minute video clip that summarises my research and participation in the Horizon 2020-funded project INCASI (International Network for Comparative Analysis of Social Inequalities)

Further, I am Academic Chair of the campaigning organisation Debt Justice UK and Author of The Mobilization and Demobilization of the Middle Classin Revolt: Comparative Insights from Argentina (Routledge, 2019). I am also Co-editor of two books: Argentina since the 2001 Crisis: Recovering Reclaiming the Future (Palgrave Macmillan, 2014) and De la Crisis de 2001 al Kirchnerismo: Cambios y Continuidades (Prometeo, 2016).
