Biography
Biography Dr Tianchen Li is the Programme Leader for the MSc
Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship and a Senior Lecturer in
International Management and Innovation at Middlesex University. Before joining
Middlesex University, he held an academic position at the University of Essex
from 2014 onwards. Dr Li holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship and an MA
in Social Science Data Analysis (with Distinction) from the University of
Essex, an MSc in International Business from the University of Liverpool, and a
BA in Computer Science and Technology from China. He specialises in advanced
quantitative research methods, including advanced econometrics, panel data
analysis, multilevel modelling, structural equation modelling (SEM), and Bayesian statistics, and has extensive
research experience across academic, public sector, and industry environments. His research work has been published
in leading international journals such as Journal
of World Business, International Business Review, Journal of Business Research,
Management Decision, European Business Review, and International Studies of Management & Organization,
among others. Dr Li also serves as a reviewer for several top-tier journals,
including Journal of Business Venturing,
Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of International Management,
International Business Review, Technovation, and Journal of Small Business Management. A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Dr
Li has substantial experience in designing, leading, and delivering
undergraduate and postgraduate modules. His teaching covers Innovation and
Entrepreneurship as well as Advanced Quantitative Analysis and Business
Analytics. He has served as Module Leader for: Innovation
