Abstract

The purpose of this study is using the Elaboration Likelihood Model to examine how the influence of information quality and source credibility on the participation intention of visitors by mediating cognitive and emotional attitude. Also, the involvement has a moderating effect between information quality, source credibility and cognitive attitude, emotional attitude. The results showed that the timeliness of information and the usefulness of information had positive effects on the cognitive attitude and emotional attitude. The authenticity of the information source and the expertise of information sources has a positive effect on cognitive attitude and emotional attitude. The involvement of the visitors was having a negative moderator effect on the relationship between "the usefulness of information" and "cognitive and emotional attitude", also "the authenticity of the information source" and "cognitive and emotional attitude". And cognitive attitude and emotional attitude have a positive effect on visitors' intention to participate in exhibitions.
