Abstract

This article reviews a selection of architectural responses to the ‘Defend-Retreat-Attack’ scenario through land-water/human-nature inter-action. This research draws on the recently completed European SECOA project and a new art and design-led research project: Hydrocitizenship (www.hydrocitizenship.com), based in the Lea Valley region.
