Discussing the positive impact of preventative housing hazard mitigation work – fixing issues such as excess cold, damp, mould, and electrical hazards – on NHS savings, decreasing demand for medical intervention while improving long-term cost-efficiency
Exploring how to best prevent and tackle detrimental effects of substandard housing on children: increases in respiratory problems and other health issues, lower literacy rates, and negative impacts on educational performance
Outlining best-practice lessons from councils and local authorities that are implementing strategies to improve tenants’ health and wellbeing
