| Abstract | This session focuses on how housing and health experiences represent wider inequality and inequity. We start with England and explore housing needs, access into and the precarious nature of housing tenures, poor housing, how conditions and management are addressed and with what effectiveness to address disadvantage. We continue with wider international examples of formal and informal settlements and explore how housing policy and practice can be pivotal in addressing issues of justice, participation and inclusion and so promote greater equality and equity in where and how people live. |
