Biography

Biography

I joined Middlesex in August 2008 as a senior lecturer in law, after having headed the Department of Practical Business Law at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.

Prior to my career as an academic, I qualified as a solicitor in South Africa, where I was enrolled as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in Cape Town in January 2000.  

I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a member of the Society of Legal Scholars. 

Teaching

I am the undergraduate module leader on the LLB for Tort law and UK Company Law.

At postgraduate level I am the module leader on the LLM programmes for Comparative Corporate Governance.

Since 2019 I have guest lectured the English Law of Tort and for some time also UK Contract law at the Catholic University of Lille in France.
