Biography

Biography

A J Dalton (https://www.ajdalton.eu) is a prize-winning SFF writer. He has published the Empire of the Saviours trilogy with Gollancz Orion, and various collections with Kristell Ink and Luna Press. He also runs the online storytelling community https://www.creativewritinghq.com - all welcome! He lives with a monstrously oppressive cat named Cleopatra.

Adam has taught English Literature and Creative Writing at Middlesex University since 2019, and before that at Falmouth University, Manchester Metropolitan University, and the University of Manchester. He has been the Programme Leader for the BA English and MA Media Management.

He currently supervises six PhD students, in both English Literature and Creative Writing (fantasy, crime, speculative fiction, sci-fi, and YA literature). He is the External Examiner for the MAs in Creative Writing at Edinburgh Napier University.
