Biography
Biography Canadian award-winning
Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) of Entrepreneurship and Sustainability,
with over a decade of global teaching experience and programme development at
all levels of higher education, including at St Andrews, Prince Edward Island
and Middlesex universities. With a Senior Fellow teaching certification,
doctorate in entrepreneurship from one of the UK’s top management schools (St
Andrews), MBA and other relevant certifications, I am committed to advancing
entrepreneurship pedagogy, community engagement and research rooted in micro
and small business exits, sustainability and survivability that have been recognised
in international outlets.
As a
fifth-generation entrepreneur, owning multiple businesses over 20 years with industry
experience in commercialisation, bridging academia-industry relationships and
interdisciplinary collaboration, my aim is to build more sustainable
communities and opportunities for students, faculty and staff through strategic
partnerships, positive engagement and innovation. My practical approach to the
realities of business ownership has been exemplified in my roles as Director of
the Hostetter Centre, Visiting Researcher (Dublin City University), Visiting
Lecturer (University of St Andrews, University of Canada, South China Normal
University, TU Berlin) while being a team player and promoting positivity.
