Biography

Biography

Canadian award-winning Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) of Entrepreneurship and Sustainability, with over a decade of global teaching experience and programme development at all levels of higher education, including at St Andrews, Prince Edward Island and Middlesex universities. With a Senior Fellow teaching certification, doctorate in entrepreneurship from one of the UK’s top management schools (St Andrews), MBA and other relevant certifications, I am committed to advancing entrepreneurship pedagogy, community engagement and research rooted in micro and small business exits, sustainability and survivability that have been recognised in international outlets.

As a fifth-generation entrepreneur, owning multiple businesses over 20 years with industry experience in commercialisation, bridging academia-industry relationships and interdisciplinary collaboration, my aim is to build more sustainable communities and opportunities for students, faculty and staff through strategic partnerships, positive engagement and innovation. My practical approach to the realities of business ownership has been exemplified in my roles as Director of the Hostetter Centre, Visiting Researcher (Dublin City University), Visiting Lecturer (University of St Andrews, University of Canada, South China Normal University, TU Berlin) while being a team player and promoting positivity.
