Serendipity is the string that pulls together the work in this exhibition by linking the folded books, the love book and 26 writer awards through the element of chance, creating a luring display of creative typographic experimentation.

Serendipity is the finding of something valuable without it being specifically sought. Chance can take on many definitions depending on the context, but in terms of randomness, it refers to events that take place without any viable cause or predictability. In the context of art and creativity, chance can encapsulate the idea of serendipity. It refers to the unexpected discovery of something treasurable or precious while either searching for something else, or not searching for anything at all. It’s like coming across a perfect melody by sheer luck.
