| Abstract | In this chapter we look at ten concepts within psychology and at how they can be applied to creating a great user experience. Their application can not only improve the usefulness and usability of products and services but also make them a joy to use and own. Each concept is explained along with its implications for design. Illustrative examples are given. It is concluded that, as the discipline of psychology continues to develop, so does its potential contribution to enhancing user experience. |
