| Title | Nkisi nkondi: an image of transference and projective identification in the analytic process |
| Authors | Henderson, D. |
| Abstract | This paper explores what it might mean for the patient to use the analyst as an nkisi nkondi. The nkisi nkondi is also known as a nail fetish. The study procedes using four categories: construction; power; and, time. The nkisi nkondi and the analyst are conduits for the managing of the unquenchable passions for order and for violence. |
