Abstract | The spaces of the contemporary city are identified by a ‘permeability gradient ’ with what seems to be a continuous interior. These internal spaces we inhabit in various ways, either public or private, are capable of generating quality: interiors are not enclosed but intimate, mysterious, unexpected. What happens when these spaces are mapped, coded and reviewed? This article explores the relationship between the reality and representation of interiors as offered by online platforms like Airbnb. |
