Interior Futures - strategic visions and innovative solutions Interior Architecture and Design matter!
How Education, Research and Knowledge Exchange plays an important role at Middlesex with Industry, Communities, and Public Institutions.
The talk aims to delve into the crucial role that Interior Design and Interior Architecture play in shaping the future. These two disciplines possess a complex set of competencies that have the potential to address global challenges, particularly those outlined in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. These challenges include but are not limited to sustainable cities and communities and responsible consumption and production.
During the talk, students' and staff' works, briefs, and projects will be presented to demonstrate how Interior Design and Interior Architecture can contribute to addressing these challenges. These collaborations involve various industries, communities, and public institutions, highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary partnerships in creating solutions for a better tomorrow. By exploring how these two disciplines can impact the world, the talk aims to provide insight into their growing significance for the future.
