Biography
Biography
Registered Adult Nurse since 2009, and specialise in critical care nursing in 2010 recognising
the significance of continuous learning and development in this dynamic field.
In 2014, I transitioned into academia working as a Honorary Lecturer at Middlesex University, while completing my PGCERT HE and working clinically as the Lead Clinical Education in Critical Care. In 2015 I joined Middlesex University in a full time position as a lecturer, and following this was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2017. Currently I am the Deputy Head of Nursing & Midwifery Department at Middlesex University. One of my notable contributions lies in the establishment of
internal postgraduate accredited Introduction
to Critical Care and Critical Care
courses. These programs not only enhance the skills of practicing nurses but
also ensures that they stay abreast of the latest advancements in critical care
practices.
With a keen eye on fostering collaborative partnerships, I
oversee our Veterinary nursing provision and accreditation for nursing and
midwifery ensuring that standards remain high across disciplines.
I am undertaking doctoral research, focusing on critical
thinking in undergraduate nurse education, as well as establishing a notable
contribution to Nursing Associate publications. I am a Senior Teaching Fellow with HEA and a member of several education and nursing networks.
