Abstract | In this article, the results from a survey of BSc pre-registration midwifery students exploring their experiences of practice-based support are discussed. The results suggest that while student midwives generally perceive adequate support in their clinical practice, more than half of the respondents feel they lack full support. Skills for effective clinical support are shared to inform practice development. |
