Abstract	This CIRIA guide provides a framework for good practice in the assessment of uncertainty in fluvial flood risk mapping. Uncertainty assessments involve subjective assessments and the framework reveals and makes clear those assessments at each stage of the modelling process. The framework makes explicit what has in the past been kept implicit.
