TitleGift membership in heritage and arts organisations: a research agenda
AuthorsSlater, A.
Abstract

Gift giving is not new in society and is often seen as highly symbolic, making a statement about the giver, recipient and their relationship. This paper critically reviews the extant literature, deconstructing the construct of gift giving and putting forward a research agenda in the context of heritage and arts memberships.
