Abstract

Research exploring process interactions between sewer leakage and groundwater contamination. The self-sealing processes and ultimate leakage rates modelled by the research have formed the basis for various UK water company statements on sewer asset performance and comprise a central core of recent Californian and US EPA liability litigation.
